How can AI help associations better meet their members’ needs? 

While associations are much different from the commercial example mentioned above, members are, above all, consumers.

  • Members expect faster response times and round-the-clock availability. AI-powered chatbots can provide real-time, conversational assistance to members, which can help associations meet these expectations.  
  • Members are now expecting associations to reach out to them through preferred channels at their desired times. AI algorithms can analyze member data to identify patterns, preferences, and behaviors. This data can then be used to create targeted social media ads that are more likely to resonate with members and encourage them to engage with the organization. 

The potential of AI not only lies in its ability to enhance current processes and systems, but also in its capacity to unearth new possibilities and opportunities. As AI continues to advance, it operates much like a 10x multiplier, immensely magnifying its impact on multiple dimensions of our lives, including efficiency, cost, and overall quality of life.
