The digitalNow Rising Leaders program, formerly Leaders of Distinction, recognizes up-and-coming leaders that are making strides to support innovation and progress within the purpose-driven organization space. The program introduces these leaders to the digitalNow community and supports their attendance through sponsored tickets.
Rising Leaders nominees must be working in the association space in a staff capacity either directly within an organization or through an AMC. Nominees should be new to a leadership position or identified to be on a leadership track.
Importantly, a Rising Leader should be someone who will benefit from and contribute to the high level conversations digitalNow is known for. They might feel a little out of their comfort zone but will ultimately come away from the conference energized to apply what they’ve learned.
The Rising Leaders program is designed to introduce up-and-coming leaders who might not otherwise attend the conference to the digitalNow community. This supports their leadership through:
Rising Leaders will be responsible for their own travel and lodging.
Previously called Leaders of Distinction, the Rising Leaders program was renamed for digitalNow 2022 to more accurately reflect the mission of the program – recognizing and supporting leaders at every level. As we focus on tackling today’s most critical issues, supporting leaders who bring new and diverse ways of thinking to the table is crucial.
As part of this change, we’ve opened the nomination process to allow anyone within the wider digitalNow and association community to submit leaders for consideration, while also allowing for self-nominations.
digitalNow is all about empowering association leaders to address the issues of today with action-based strategies, transformative leadership and a community of innovators. This community is made stronger by including a wider range of thought and understanding. The Rising Leaders program helps us to achieve this by supporting Thought Leaders who might not otherwise attend. As is our motto – if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
